The guitar is a string instrument , usually with a box made of wood, which generates an acoustic facilitating the propagation of sound . In some Spanish-speaking countries is known as guitar. The history of the guitar leads us almost 2,000 AC Current guitarists currently accept two theories :
-The
Guitar is a derivative of the Arabic lute, taken by the Muslims in the Iberian
Peninsula and adapting very well the activities of the court ;
-The
Guitar derived from " Roman Zither " , with its use and expanding the
domination of the Roman Empire .
In
Brazil we have the introduction of the viola ( instrument 10 or 5 double
strings ) brought by the Portuguese during colonization of the country . For a
time there was still some confusion regarding the terms banjo / guitar in the
country today, but the discrepancy between the two instruments is notorious.
The
use of the guitar is one of the most diverse and can be used both in
instrumental music ( orchestras ) and in monitoring voice ( solo songs ) . For
a period of history the guitar has been defamed due to being the preferred
instrument of bohemians and seresteiros , taking the title of " marginal
instrument " , " bum thing " , however this fact has been
overcome .
The
country grew his own crop of guitarists and can cite among them :
-Clementino
Lisbon started guitar performances in public, presenting the instrument for the
city's elite ;
-Joaquim
Santos , founder of the magazine " The guitar " ;
-Aníbal Sardinha : precursor
of bossa nova.
We can also cite the Fusa
Jorge Américo Jacomino , Nicanor Teixeira , Egberto Gismonti ...
The
Brazilian guitar music is based on small work of Villa- Lobos (important
national guitarist who took up his life made into a film ) , which has
basically 12 guitar studies .
